Small scoop or mug, stainless steel
Small scoop or mug, stainless steel
This small stainless steel scoop or mug is made in Sweden at DaloLindén's Motala factory, where the company has been manufacturing stainless steel products since 1947. DaloLindén's own introductory video introduces viewers to their Motala factory.
The container is made of stainless steel, 18/10 grade AISI 304 (corresponding to grade EN 1.4301), and contains about 18% chromium and 10% nickel. It is a high quality steel that lasts well in many environments. It is easy to keep clean, suitable for food use and withstands temperatures from -20°C to 250°C. It is also dishwasher safe, but the manufacturer does not recommend using their stainless steel products in microwave ovens.
DaloLindén's products are of high quality and well finished, and they are made to last.
The container is 8.2 cm in diameter (without the handle) and 8.4 cm high. Its volume is 4.5 dl. The container can be used as a scoop, for example when scooping water from a bucket or from the water tank of a wood stove or grains from a sack of grain, or also as a mug, for example as an unbreakable and plastic-free alternative to a glass toothbrush holder or as a travel mug. However, when used as a mug, the container’s center of gravity is not optimal and the handle has a tendency to slip out of the hand.
