Measuring cup 2.5 dl, stainless steel

This 2.5 dl measuring cup made of stainless steel is produced in Sweden at DaloLindén's Motala factory, where stainless steel products have been manufactured ever since 1947. DaloLindén's introductory video introduces viewers to their Motala factory.

The measuring cup is made of stainless steel, 18/10 grade AISI 304 (corresponding to grade EN 1.4301), and contains about 18% chromium and 10% nickel. It is a high quality steel that lasts well in many environments. It is easy to keep clean, suitable for food use and withstands temperatures from -20 °C to 250 °C. It is also dishwasher safe, but the manufacturer does not recommend using their stainless steel products in microwave ovens.

The measuring cup is part of DaloLindén's Jonas kitchen product series. DaloLindén's products are of high quality and well finished, and they are made to last.

The cup’s outer diameter across the top (without the handle) is 10 cm and its height is 7.2 cm. Inside the cup you find both the European and the American measurement scale on opposite sides. The European scale has 5 graduations with measurement values at intervals of half a deciliter (0.05-0.1-0.15-0.2-0.25 l) and the American scale has one graduation for 0.5 cup and another for 1 cup. The measuring cup does not have any spout.

The cup is also a handy small container when you go to the garden to pick a small amount of berries or herbs.
