We offer four different sizes of stainless steel lids with a handle for the corresponding stainless steel buckets, which are sold as separate products. Check out the small 7-liter bucket and the 10- and 15-liter buckets with sturdy bottom rims. These three differently sized buckets are made of 18/10 AISI 304 grade stainless steel. We also offer a 12-liter bucket with a bottom rim, made of acid-resistant steel (AISI 316 L). No acid-resistant steel lid is manufactured for this model; however, if a lid is desired, a suitably sized lid made of standard stainless steel is available here.
The lids for the buckets are produced in Sweden at DaloLindén's Motala factory, where stainless steel products have been manufactured ever since 1947. DaloLindén's introductory video introduces viewers to the production in Motala.
The sturdy lids are made of stainless steel, 18/10 grade AISI 304 (corresponding to grade EN 1.4301), and contain about 18% chromium and 10% nickel. The raw material is of European origin and has a recycled material content of approximately 80–90%. It is a high quality steel that lasts well in many environments. It is easy to keep clean, is suitable for food use, withstands temperatures from -20 °C to 250 °C and is also dishwasher safe.
The lids and their corresponding buckets are part of DaloLindén's Jonas kitchen product series. DaloLindén's products are of high quality and well finished, and they are made to last.
Minor surface scratches on the products are normal byproducts of the manufacturing process and do not constitute quality defects. Similar marks will naturally appear over time with use. If, for any reason, there are more scratches than usual, they are more clearly visible or if there is a slight irregularity in the lid, the lid is sold as B-grade at a slightly reduced price. Such minor cosmetic imperfections do not in any way affect the product's functionality.
Stainless steel products made in Europe are a rarity these days and we are therefore particularly pleased to have this quality product of Swedish origin in our product range. Stainless steel products have their price, but once purchased, they serve their users for a long time. They are further a good example of circular economy, with their high recycled content and full recyclability without any quality degradation.
